With approximately 800 employees across five facilities in Michigan and Indiana, EMP has emerged as a leading producer of heavy-duty diesel engine components, with annual sales growth from $6 million in 1991 to $330 million in 2005. All of EMPís products are designed to each customerís exact specifications. Castings are machined at EMPís Escanaba facilities and shipped to the Greenfield or Indianapolis plants for assembly. EMPís continual focus on detail-oriented manufacturing, commitment to defect-free products and exceptional performance related to on-time delivery has contributed to EMPís industry leadership position. Further, EMPís philosophy of providing total customer satisfaction has allowed EMP to win contracts and capture significant follow-on business with major players in the diesel engine industry.
EMPís products are widely utilized in a number of end markets including On-Highway, Off-Highway, Agricultural, Marine, Industrial, Commercial and Hydronic Heating for residential home heating applications.
