With our head office in the UK, Expro has regional headquarters in Aberdeen, Cape Town, Dubai, Houston, Kuala Lumpur and Rio. We have grown rapidly in recent years to become a market leader in offshore and subsea business, with a strengthened presence in gas well and land markets.

Expro offers services and products through four marketing segments:

• Well Testing & Commissioning
• Wireline Intervention
• Connectors & Measurements
• Deepwater Intervention

The range of products and services that we offer across our Well Flow Management portfolio allows us to provide integrated solutions to our customers worldwide.

Expro’s expertise extends across the lifecycle of a well, assisting our customers to achieve their goals from Exploration & Appraisal through to Abandonment.

Well Testing & Commissioning

Expro has been a leading provider of well testing services and completion flowbacks, both onshore and offshore, for more than 30 years, with significant strengths in subsea wells and high flow rate gas wells. Our subsea safety systems, and our high-endurance chokes, combined with expert onsite analysis capabilities, provide our customers with market-leading performance to support their well clean-ups and exploration well tests. Expro has an international profile as the market leader in some key subsea technologies and has a consistent history of delivering world-first achievements, particularly in ultra deepwater environments.

Deepwater brings harsh operating conditions, with increased pressure, temperature and debris. Expro has remained focused on developing the innovative technology that can operate reliably and efficiently for its customers in such conditions, allowing them to perform well interventions and completions safely. Already used extensively in the North Sea, Africa and the US, Expro’s subsea safety systems are in demand in deepwater projects in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Brazil and Asia.

Expro’s subsea safety systems deliver critical well control functions in challenging oilfield production conditions. With more than 20 years of deepwater well testing experience, we deliver cost effective, engineered solutions which meet industry standards and client demands. The range of Expro landing string assemblies (ELSA) and subsea control systems (Express) are specifically developed to minimise risk in subsea completion and intervention operations and achieve secure well status in the event of an emergency.

Compatible with all subsea completions, Expro systems are qualified for use in water depths of up to 10,000 feet. An extensive track record of more than 500 operations means we are accustomed to liaising with customers and delivering projects globally.

Our in-depth technology development process and unparalleled subsea experience enable us to provide innovative answers to customer requirements. Expro has also designed, developed, and now deployed a hybrid subsea safety system (ELSA-DB) for use offshore Angola. The unique system allows the dual bore completions to be deployed using a monobore landing string, thus allowing the wells to be flow tested to the rig, prior to installing the production trees. We have also designed the industry’s first 15,000psi, 250°F rated, large bore electro-hydraulic subsea control system (EXPRESS-HP). The system allows high pressure large bore subsea completion and interventions to be conducted safely in water depth up to 10,000ft. The system is being developed specifically to meet the emerging demands of the deepwater high pressure subsea Gulf of Mexico market.

Connectors & Measurements

Expro has an established global reputation for the manufacture and delivery of market-leading subsea connector and measurement technology. The Tronic product name is recognised throughout the global subsea oil and gas industry as leading in the design, manufacture and installation of reliable subsea mateable electrical and optical connection systems. Our technology provides the industry’s most reliable way of communicating in deepwater developments.

Expro’s Tronic products are market-leading high integrity subsea power and data connection systems. These, combined with our Matre instruments, offer a convenient integrated scope of supply, with our customers benefiting from a single source of supply for complete jumper assemblies and flying leads. This gives the advantage of a simplified supply chain, coupled with a single warranty.

Our Expro Meters business develops, manufactures and sells an innovative range of robust and cost-effective flow meters to the oil and gas market, in addition to providing production testing services on a rental basis.

The non-intrusive, clamp-on design of the flow meters enables them to be deployed on new or existing installations, and inherently lowers both the technical risks and operating costs associated with flow measurement. The technical and operational superiority of this innovative range of products provides a step change in metering in the oilfield.

Deepwater Intervention

Deepwater wells are costly to drill and technically demanding to maintain. The challenge facing operators who produce in deepwater is to re-intervene in these wells, quickly and cost effectively.

Expro’s AX-S™ (pronounced ‘access’) system is designed to service the rapidly growing market for lightweight well intervention services that diagnose production problems and improve production and reserves recoveries from subsea wells.

AX-S has been designed to provide a cost-effective solution to subsea well intervention in up to 10,000 feet of water.

Wireline Intervention

Expro is a global provider of through tubing and completion wireline intervention services. Our comprehensive service range provides cost-effective solutions to our customers’ operations, with a firm focus on well performance and service excellence.

Expro’s key capabilities are in: Slickline and E-line; Production Optimisation; Production Monitoring; Well Integrity Evaluation; Wireless Telemetry; and Well Services.
