Triton - The three Triton fields lie in the North Sea, 190km east of Aberdeen. They are being developed using an FPSO, located approximately 20km away from the Bittern field and 12km from the Guillemot West field, via subsea pipelines.

Blake Flank - field lies 64 miles from Aberdeen in the Outer Moray Firth, in the northern North Sea immediately adjacent to the main Blake Channel structure, brought on stream in June 2001.

Skarv - combined oil and gas development, with 80% of the reserves gas and the remaining 20% liquids. The resource base consists of hydrocarbons from several different reservoirs

Schiehallion Oil Field - was discovered in 1993, with the semi-submersible drilling rig Ocean Alliance, whilst it was exploring the deep waters of the Shetland Trough in the NW Atlantic. Schiehallion lies in 400m of water and it extends across four blocks.

Foinaven Oil - is located in blocks 204/19 and 204/24a, which are operated by BP Exploration. Shell UK Exploration and Production is the co-venturer. These blocks lie some 190km west of the Shetland Islands, in a water depth of between 400 and 600m.

Greater Plutonio, Block 18 - fields lies in 1,200m to 1,500m of water. In 1999, BP drilled the Platina and Plutonio wells using the deepwater drillship Pride Angola, and followed these in 2000 with four more: Galio, Paladio, Cromio and Cobalto.

Sanha / Bomboco - development lies in Block 0, offshore Cabinda in West Africa, in 75m to 200m of water. The condensate project is based on a number of fields feeding new facilities on the Sanha field, with LPG connected to a purpose-built FPSO.

Captain - field has undergone a huge Phase II expansion which has increased the 60,000 barrels per day rate to an average plateau rate of 85,000 barrels per day. A new platform was installed to develop the reservoir within the eastern part of the field (Area B).

Wenchang - consisting of Wenchang 13-1 and 13-2 fields, is located in the western Pearl River Mouth Basin, about 400 kilometers southwest of Hong Kong and 140 kilometers east of Hainan Island. CNOOC discovered the two oil fields independently.

Lufeng 22-1 - field lies 250km south-east of Hong Kong in the South China Sea, in 333m of water. Recoverable reserves are estimated at 30 million bbls, representing a recovery factor of approximately 25% of oil-in-place.

Espoir - is leading production facility for oil & natural gas for Cote d’Ivoire, is situated in the block CI –26, located 19 km offshore of Jacqueville, 60 km southwest of Abidjan, in water depths ranging from 100m to 600m

MacCulloch Oil - is located in block 15/24b, approximately 23 miles north of the Britannia field. It began production in August 1997. The wells are tied back to two subsea manifolds and then to a leased floating production storage offtake (FPSO).

Banff - field lies 25km south-east of the Gannet accumulations in the Central North Sea, 200km east of Aberdeen. It is located predominantly in the Conoco-operated block 29/2a, extending into the neighbouring block 22/27a, operated by Ranger.

Ross - The Ross oil field is situated in the outer Moray Firth on Blocks 13/28a and 13/29a, 60 km north of the Scottish coast and 30 km to the south-east of the Captain field

Bijupira and Salema - fields are located 250km east of Rio de Janeiro. The fields are operated by Enterprise (55%) on behalf of Odebrecht (25%) and Petrobras (20%). They range in water depths between 1,575ft and 2,900ft.

Yoho - located in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)/MPN Joint Venture fields, Oil Mining Lease (OML) 104, has estimated reserves of 0.4 billion barrels of oil

Kizomba - deepwater field development located in block 15 offshore Angola include the Hungo, Dikanza, Mondo, Chocalho, Kissanje, Saxi and Batuque oil fields

Jotun - is located on the Utsira High, between the Balder and Heimdal fields, approximately 200km west of Stavanger. Average water depth in the field area is 126m. Geologically, Jotun consists of the Elli, Elli South and Tau West structures.

Gorgon - area gas fields are located offshore, approximately 60km from Barrow Island and approximately 200km west of Dampier, on the Australian mainland. Five fields have so far been discovered - Gorgon, Chrysaor, Dionysus, West Tryal Rocks and Spar.

Zafiro - located in water depths of 300-5000ft about 40 miles offshore the Gulf of Guinea. The field is located in the Block B, about 68km (42 miles) west-northwest of Bioko island in Equatorial Guinea

Langsa Oil Poo - is located in the offshore part of the North Sumatra Basin, in the Straits of Malacca. It covers an area of 77km², 90km east-north-east of Mobil/Exxon's giant Arun gas/condensate field.

Agbami - field lies in OPL Block 216, approximately 220 miles south-east of Lagos and 70 miles offshore Nigeria, in the central Niger Delta.

White Rose Oil and Gas - discovered in 1984, the White Rose offshore oil field is located in the Jeanne d'Arc Basin 350km east of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Leadon - is located in Blocks 9/14a and 9/14b, 8km east of the Beryl facilities and 23km to the north of Kerr-McGee (KMUK) Gryphon development. It lies in a water depth of approximately 120 metres, 166 km from the UK coastline

Oudna - consist of 2 wells (1 production and 1 water injection), located offshore Tunisia

Alvheim - is located in PL203, and extends into neighbouring PL088 and PL036. The field is located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, west of Haugesund and close to the UK border in 125 meters waterdepth

Abana - located on Block Oil Prospecting License (OPL) # 230, near the Calabar River in Nigeria, close to Cameroon in shallow 5m waterdepth . It is located 30km offshore Calabar

Tui, Amokura and Pateke Reserves Area Oil Project - Three oil fields - Tui, Amokura and Pateke reserves located in PEP 38460, the offshore Taranaki basin, New Zealand - are being developed in phases under the Tui Area Oil Project.

Buffalo - The Buffalo Field Development Area (JPDA) of Timor Sea. It is about 560 km north-west of Darwin, Australia. It was discovered in October 1996 by BHP.

Liuhua 11-1 - oil field is, to date, the largest oil field in the South China Sea and the reservoir is located in 1,000ft (300m) of water. After preliminary exploration studies, Liuhua 11-1A was drilled.

Terra Nova - The Terra Nova field, located 350km ESE of St John's Newfoundland and 35km SE of Hibernia, was discovered in 1984 by Petro-Canada. Field reserves have been estimated at 406 million barrels (Mbbl).

Marlim Sul - field was discovered in November 1987 by the wildcat well 4-RJS-382. The field is located 110km (68 miles) off the northern shore of the Rio de Janeiro state. Water depth varies from 720m in the north, to 2,600m in the south of the field.

Roncador - In March 2001, the P-36, which was stationed over the Roncador field, sank after three explosions left 11 workers dead. At the time, the world's biggest semisubmersible had been producing 84,000b/d and 1.3 million m³/d of gas.

Espadarte - is located approximately 110 km from the coast of Brazil in the Campos Basin. The Espadarte field lies in a water depth range of 750 to 1,500 meters.

Mutineer-Exeter MODEC Venture II FPSO - field development is located approximately 150km north of Dampier on the north-west coast of Australia, in the offshore Carnarvon Basin, Western Australia. It lies in permits WA-26-L (Mutineer) and WA-27-L (Exeter).

Curlew - is located some 220 km east of Aberdeen in the central North Sea lies in 92 metres water depth. The Curlew Field is developed via subsea facilities feeding into an FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading system).

Bonga - developed in 1993 as one of the first in Nigeria’s deepwater fields, Bonga is situated in Oil Prospecting License (OPL) 212, the 60 square kilometer field is located in 1000 meters waterdepths

Idun - is located between Heidrun and Norne. The reservoir contains gas.

Norne - Hydrocarbons in the Norne field are located in the Lower- to Middle-Jurassic sandstones, which are of a good reservoir quality. An oil zone 110m thick with an overlying gas cap make up the hydrocarbon column.

Glitne - lies in blocks 15/5 and 15/6 in the Sleipner area of the Norwegian North Sea, about 40 kilometres north-west of Statoil's Sleipner East development. The water depth in the area is approximately 110 metres.

PM-3 Commercial Arrangement Area (CAA) - Phases 2 and 3 of the PM-3 Commercial Arrangement Area (CAA) project are being carried out offshore Malaysia/Vietnam. Phase 1 oil production commenced in July 1997. Phases 2 and 3 achieved peak production early 2004.

Ceiba - field is located in Block G of the Rio Muni Basin, 22 miles off the continental coast of Equatorial Guinea and approximately 150 miles south of the country's capital, Malabo.

Laminaria - is located in the Timor Sea, 550km north-west of Darwin. Water depths increase from 50m to 300-400m near Laminaria and 400-500m over Corallina, before deepening to over 2,000m further north in the Timor Trough.

Chinguetti Oil - field lies off the coast of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, North West Africa, in Block 4, PSC (Production Sharing Contract) area B, approx. 80km west of the Mauritanian coastline and 90km from the capital, Nouakchott.
