Alvheim, Marathon, - is located in PL203, and extends into neighbouring PL088 and PL036. The field is located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, west of Haugesund and close to the UK border in 125 meters waterdepth



The Alvheim field development by operator Marathon is located Block 24/6-2 in North Sea offshore Norway in water depths of 125 meters 410 feet .

Marathon with its partners started development of the Alvheim field in 1998. The recoverable reserves are estimated to 250 mmboe. Number of subsea wells are 11. The production year is 2007 with a daily production estimate of 80,000 bopd. The Alvheim project is based on a subsea solution with Alvheim FPSO topside solution. The development cost is in the order of $350,000,000 with an estimated field life of years.
