Ross, Encana, - The Ross oil field is situated in the outer Moray Firth on Blocks 13/28a and 13/29a, 60 km north of the Scottish coast and 30 km to the south-east of the Captain field

The Ross field development by operator Encana is located 13/28a & 13/29a in North Sea offshore UK in water depths of 110 meters .

Encana with its partners started development of the Ross field in 1981. The recoverable reserves are estimated to 100 mmboe. Number of subsea wells are 11. The production year is 1999 with a daily production estimate of 40,000 bopd. The Ross project is based on a subsea solution with Ross FPSO topside solution. The development cost is in the order of $300,000,000 with an estimated field life of years.
