Setting up and operation of machines as directed by supervisor • Working to manufacturing controls checklist and operations manual • Continually making attempts to improve productivity and work methods • Working to COSHH regulations and being aware of risk assessments and work procedures • Stamping and deburring components appropriately • Being responsible for individual quality of work • Ensuring all items removed from store are documented correctly and all tooling is returned to store when not in use • Ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and faults reported immediately to supervisor • Ensuring own safety and safety of others in working practices • Ensuring lifting equipment is used safely and stored appropriately when not in use • Keeping work areas tidy and free from obstacles • Assisting new starts in training
