Key requirements of the role are: Preparation of financial analysis and reports Supervision of general and property accounting, internal auditing, budgetary controls and ensuring compliance with corporate and local tax requirements Supervision of accounting team and functions Develop, analyse and interpret statistical and accounting information and appraise profitability and performance against budget Preparation and supervision of monthly and yearly financial statements and recommending solutions where problems or opportunities identified Develop chart of accounts and co-ordinate year end audits Maintain and develop vendor and customer relations Appraisal, coaching and mentoring of Accounting team Ensure compliance with Company rules and procedures Preparation, control and maintenance of operating equipment stock Develop systems and procedures where required and ensure compliance in accordance with Company guidelines Produce monthly and annual tax returns for relevant registrations and countries Co-ordinate tax audits Maintain follow up of registration matters, agency agreements and agent relationships in North Africa countries Co-ordinate and produce annual budgets and financial forecasts Ensure maintenance and compliance of customs files with local regulation Produce additional reporting as and when required Participate in projects relating to tax matters, establishment registration and product group reporting
