The job consists of the following tasks and responsibilities: - Examination and inspection of equipment for Marine and Offshore use against API, class and other international standards.. - Examination and inspection of pressure equipment to PED and API codes. - Fabrication surveillance, witness of tests and final certification of Offshore containers (2.7-1, 2.7-2 & 3) and various appliances to Standard for Lifting 2.22. - Liaison with design Review Engineers to assure design intent is reflected in product output and to resolve any certification queries. - Develop and maintenance of good client relationships. - Great importance is placed on personal work administration, commercial awareness and quality of reporting. The job requires travel on a regular basis within the local area and may occasionally require travel to other parts of the Region and Offshore. A car or car allowance will be provided for the individual to carry out the role. Candidates will be expected to work in a team and occasionally independently. A duty Rota system operates in the team and the successful candidate will be required to undertake weekend work in accordance with the rota.
