Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids has an immediate opening for a Sr Tank Cleaning Specialist in Lafayette, LA. PRIMARY ROLE: Part of a team performing conventional cleaning for the mud system on drilling rigs and operating a auto-cleaning tool for dockside boat cleaning and/or rig cleaning. KEY FUNCTIONS: - Inspect and survey OFFSHORE rigs and dockside facilities prior to the setup operation. - Must have the technical ability to run the equipment, management ability to run the crew, and customer service skills to represent the company in a leadership role. - Coordinate job tasks and the quality of service while on the customers site. - Ensures that technicians possess the proper maintenance and safety certifications to meet customer requirements prior to job assignment. - Works with company and client personnel at the rig site or dock facility to ensure proper completion of the process. - May take a lead role on less complex jobs. Working knowledge of company’s rig pit and dockside services equipment preferred High School diploma or GED. 1 to 3 years of experience. At least one year of Field Service Tech experience with rig pit and dockside environmental cleaning equipment.
