Set HSE-Q standards for the business unit and approve guidelines for the implementation of safety focused initiatives • Develop medium-term/long-term strategies for the continued growth and profitable expansion of the business unit • Ensure processes related to continuous improvement of all activities within the business unit are implemented and followed-up • Approve KPI`s for the business unit and monitor results • Manage budgeting processes and monitor results against approved budgets • Ensure all internal and external audits are performed in accordance with the approved schedule • Manage resource requirements; ensure that these are properly forecast & that the determined requirements are met • Establish guidelines for organisational development and competence building • Develop, establish and maintain close contact with customers and authorities; be proactive in clarifying if delivered services meet expectations • Follow up all commercial and contractual issues with clients and subcontractors to ensure good working relationships with these parties • Follow latest developments for the industry segments in which SFDE operates; assist with marketing, tender processes and contract negotiations • Establish relevant pay-scales and recommend salary adjustments as appropriate
