BG Group has been a key investor in Egypt for the last 20 years helping to develop the country’s natural gas industry. Thanks to our role as one of country’s leading foreign investors, we account for 40 per cent of Egypt’s gas production. Today, Egypt is a core country for BG Group a cornerstone of our Atlantic Basin LNG strategy. This role leads and improves Asset Integrity (AI) activity within our Joint Venture (JV) organisation. The post is based at the Idku site covering the onshore terminals and offshore fields. The position provides specialist Asset Integrity leadership, advice and guidance in the assessment and management of AI risks in the operation, modification and enhancement of the JV facilities. The overall objective of the post is to improve and embed systems, processes and the correct attitudes and behaviours to allow AI risks to be identified and managed on an ongoing and sustainable basis. This a permanent role on a 28/28 work rotation in Egypt.
