Axess Offshore Services AS in short: NDT inspection of process equipment, structures, lifting equipment and drilling equipment, surveys of lifting and drilling equipment

Axess has renewed a 4 years contract with Smedvig Offshore. The contract runs from 2006 to 2010. The contract includes engineering services and annual lifting surveys on Smedvig Offshore 4 mobile units, West Venture, West Navigator, West Epsilon and West Alpha. This contract comes in addition to Axess last years contract with Smedvig Offshore for annual lifting survey onboard Statfjord A, Statfjord, B, Statfjord C, Gullfaks A, Gullfaks B, Gullfaks C, Veslefrikk A, Veslefrikk B and CCB Ågotnes. Axess has been working for Smedvig since 1999 and Smedvig Offshore purchasing manager, Mr. Ragnar Klette states that the contract is a vote of confidence to Axess. In the evaluation of the contract, the commercial terms, HES-Q performance, and the Axess engineers competence and ability to integration in the Smedvig organization has been decisive. “Axess team Smedvig” was established in spring 2005 and the team will coordinate and follow up all engineering and inspection activities at any Smedvig Offshore installation.
