Act as focal point of engineering expertise within Acergy for construction/pipelay/remote intervention equipments Lead reviews and improvements of engineering standards related to construction/pipelay/remote intervention equipment, in conjunction with the Construction Assets Technical Support Manager and the Control System Group Manager Facilitate efficient technical project resourcing through close dialogue with Projects Director, New Builds Director and Project Managers Identify future resource requirements in conjunction with the Technical & Engineering Director Support Fleet Directors and Marine Superintendents, by providing technical input to CAPEX process Work with Supply-Chain function to manage/consolidate suppliers used to support construction equipment engineering activities, including identification of new suppliers, and participating in supplier evaluations Establish and maintain a positive and proactive working environment that encourages team working, a spirit of openness, honesty and integrity, thereby attracting, retaining and motivating a skilled workforce
