* Monitor the outside operated drilling and completions operations for a multi rig horizontal shale gas development * Review all well plans and AFE submitted for StatoilHydro approval * Work as the Drilling & Wells team member in a multi disciplined team responsible for StatoilHydro interest in the Indigo shale gas development * Document learnings & procedures for drilling & completing shale gas wells * Document technical and research requirements to aid in the drilling and completion of shale gas wells * Provide Drilling & Completion expertise in the evaluation of future shale gas developments * Along with StatoilHydro staff seconded to the Indigo operator make up the core of StatoilHydro Discipline Network for Shale Gas Development * Represent Drilling and Completions during meetings with Indigo operator and work closely with operator’s Drilling and Completion staff * The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job generally in an office setting, but may include travel outside the office or on a commercial carrier. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. On occasion, the position may demand travel regular work or travel that is in an environment outside of reasonable expectations * All Employees are expected to work a normal 40-hour week. Standard Hours of Operation for StatoilHydro – USA & Mexico are 8:00am to 5:00pm * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and discern information. The employee frequently is required to sit or walk about the workplace. Required oversees travel requires traveling on an airplane, boat or helicopter. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to a variety of work environments * In compliance with ADA requirements the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
