Develop Quality plan with Subsea Projects leader aligned with Big Y’s of the business • Understand ISO and API certification. • Be focal point for all internal and external audits relevant to Subsea Projects; coordinate other Quality resources to best support audit efforts • Drive with the leadership team quality, simplification and process improvement for Subsea Projects; participate on Staff discussions, highlight key quality issues, ongoing projects, and drive cross functional Quality accountability within Subsea Projects among all levels • Identify potential process improvement projects and take leadership on managing cross functional processes and drive improvements through multiple stakeholders – ensure alignment to Big Y’s • Own the Quality Management system (QMS) --- ensure each site utilizes the Subsea QMS, incorporates the latest ISO/API/GE Energy requirements and is aligned with the Subsea Projects QMS quality manuals; coordinate with D&PS QMS leader to drive required policy changes and alignment to the GE Energy QMS • Implement Documentum as Core Quality document repository • Ensure linkage with ERP Commercial team; drive coordination and enable ERP success • Working with EPC and COE project directors/managers, ensure adequate staff of Project Quality Engineers is supplied to meet project and customer requirements. Hire, train, and lead the PQEs. • Be a recognized point of escalation for project and product quality issues. • Work with Supplier Quality to define appropriate strategy for managing suppliers and ensure appropriate staffing to ensure success of projects and supporting documentation. • Assist in implementation of the CCR system and related training; coordinate with QL Continuous Improvement for data analysis; conduct regular cross functional Improvement Loop meetings to address Customer Complaints • Identify and keep current key PQE skills, annually assess PQEs against capability matrix, and develop training plans to close gaps. • Drive common templates for PQE deliverables to achieve “one Subsea, one GE” vision • In conjunction with other Quality team members, serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma quality into the Subsea organization • Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices
