This person will have responsibility to lead Human Resources for UK Vetco Manufacturing, (~400 employees) which includes multiple manufacturing locations (Aberdeen and Brent Avenue). This position will also have manufacturing HR responsibilities for the Nailsea Site. - Serve as a strategic business partner with the Manufacturing organization - Statutory and regulatory compliance with the HR aspects of EHS on site, including any and all regulatory obligations to the Regional Govt authorities. - Provide advice, council, and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR information systems - Lead and assist with any Disciplinary processes involving manufacturing employees in the Nailsea site, as well as providing counsel for other UK manufacturing disciplinary actions. - Lead recruiting and staffing for UK manufacturing - Provide coaching, counselling and retention for UK manufacturing employees - Performance Management: Lead the Salaried Employee Evaluation process (Session C) as well as, Goals & Objectives and associated processes for all of UK Manufacturing. - Compensation Management: Lead Salary planning and incentive planning for UK Manufacturing, keeping in line with the GE compensation philosophy - Working very closely with other the Global Functional HRMs to deploy specific functional policies - Support and assist with other regional HR initiatives as needed – interact with other global manufacturing HRM’s in a matrixed environment. - Provide advice to the UK Manufacturing Plant Managers on the employment laws and interpretations
