Logistics Co-ordinator Jobs in Aberdeen, Scotland

IMPORTS – Issuing clearance instructions to agents for imports coming into the UK and advising goods in / PMs when shipments are due to arrive in country. Assisting foreign locations with issuing the correct import invoices to enable goods to be imported into the UK without delays using the most advantageous procedure for the company falling within the HMCE regulations. - Organise and issue purchase orders for all freight movements. - Up keeping spreadsheets for the monthly ROV / Stock International movements. - Source and procure rates advantageous to the company. - Process invoices – costings / codings for all courier and freight shipments. - Maintain filing systems with respect to the above. - Assist Logistics Supervisor with DTI Export Control Regulations. - Provide adequate cover for Logisitics Supervisor when on vacation. - Assist with any other duties as and when required. - Undertake specific projects as instructed by management
