The Inherently Reliable Facilities technology flagship program is seeking an engineer, to lead and champion the IRF efforts on Corrosion Management. This IRF position, based in Houston, will be responsible for delivery of a major technology development program in this area, involving corrosion threat assessment, corrosion control and corrosion monitoring. It will also ensure that IRF efforts in developing and demonstrating these technologies are delivered to the E&P business units in a sustainable way. The appointed engineer will be accountable for developing deep working relationships with the E&P business unites so that any technology developed is trialed, tested and deployed at scale. They will also have the opportunity and responsibility to directly impact development and implementation of corrosion management technology and engineering practice the upstream business. The position provides a significant opportunity to take a lead role in the corrosion and materials discipline and make a major contribution to BP’s future performance in the E&P segment
