Metering & Measurement Engineer Jobs in Houston, USA

The measurement systems employed within the SPU include continuous separator outflow and in-process measurements, multiphase and wet gas meters, periodic well testing and associated nodal-type analysis, and measurement of produced liquid hydrocarbons. The measurement function is contained with the NAG SPU Reliability and Maintenance function on the Instrumentation, Control, and Electrical (ICE) Engineering Team. The measurement engineer will need to be familiar with US and International standards on measurement. The Measurement Engineer is responsible for providing advice and guidance on liquid and gas measurement systems deployed in the NAG SPU. This is a key role providing recommendations to the Measurement TA enabling compliance with the requirements of the Hydrocarbon Value Realization (HVR) practice and the measurement General Practice (64-XX) series of standards. There is no direct staff reporting relationships.
