The Petrotest PMA-2 & PMA-4 Pensky-Martens Flash Point Testers began as manually-operated testers, designed by Mr. Pensky and Dr. Martens in Berlin, Germany in the late 1800’s. Today, Petrolab Company proudly offers the largest and most complete combination of petrochemical and chemical test instrumentation and accessories in the world. Additionally, the diversity of the product line that Petrolab Company has assembled positions the company as a market leader in a broad spectrum of industries to include food quality and safety, flavor and fragrance development, environmental sciences, pharmaceuticals, plastics, paints and coating and widespread applications in the government and transportation sectors. Petrolab initiated the design of a new, portable tester to rapidly and precisely determine the RVP-equivalent vapor pressure of fuel samples per specifications by the U.S. EPA. The resultant design, as manufactured by Grabner Instruments, is now the U.S. EPA’s referee analytical instrument for Clean Air Act enforcement. This tester is also available as an on-line vapor pressure tester for use in hazardous area locations. Petrolab Company continues to advance at the forefront of its markets.
