The position of Project Mechanical Engineer recognises performance and responsibilities above that of Graduate or Trainee Project Engineer. It also recognises development potential and facilitates succession planning towards the role of Senior Project Engineer. The role of the Project Mechanical Engineer is to conduct: • Procedure development, detailed engineering calculations, drawings and specifications • Material Take Off Lists (MTO) and management of, List of Materials (LOM) • Witness / partake in equipment function testing • Perform other related duties and assignments as required • Principally to assist the Senior Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager with the following: o Safe and efficient delivery of Projects to both Client and Company satisfaction. o Meet or exceed Project Profit targets (and where set, stretch target). o Input to both technical and commercial aspects of the tendering process.
