DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitor and maintain the local Quality Management System in accordance with the Weatherford global QSM and in compliance with API Q1 and other national and international standards as appropriate. • Plan and oversee management reviews, internal audits and vendor audit/certification as appropriate. • Oversee the work of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments, ensuring that they have adequate resources and appropriate systems in place to ensure compliance with all accreditations, thread licenses and appropriate international and industry standards. • Review all Non Conformance Reports, both internal and external to the company to ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are put in place wherever possible to eliminate root causes. • Monitor follow-up to Corrective and Preventive Action Reports • Review all external Quality Plans and be the primary point of contact for customer nominated inspection and/or audits. • Liaise with customers on a regular basis to understand and improve perceived quality performance. • Identify and recommend training required to support continuous improvement. • Prepare monthly management reports on QA/QC activities and overall quality performance. • Be responsible for budgetary planning control of the QA/QC departments. • Be an active member of the ME Manufacturing Management Team. • Any other delegated tasks or responsibilities as required, provided the requests are reasonable and the employee is capable and competent to fulfill them.
