Sourcing Specialist Jobs in Aberdeen, Scotland

A Sourcing Specialist verifies equipment at Suppliers premises, that have been manufactured, assembled and tested, in accordance with Purchase Order, Bill of Materials and Drawing requirements. This position liaise with Customer representatives during Witness / Hold Points as per their agreed Inspection Test Plans and assists where required to perform expediting duties of critical items to meet build schedules. - Review all documentation packages ( MRB,s) for content prior to release, against known requirements. - Be responsible for the issue of Release Notes. - Produce and maintain detailed, concise and accurate weekly reports. - Formally report any negative findings on product Quality using the GRA System. - Drive and promote Quality is the Supply Base. - Must be prepared to travel at short notice to meet both internal and customer requirements. - Support the Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) as and when required. - Promote HSE at the suppliers and highlight any Safety concerns.
