The Specialist Design Engineer is responsible for general tasks within the area. The SDE shall be a skilled CAD user and produce concepts, drawings, assemblies and parts by means of the CAD system. When needed, this role will assist the staff organization during tender work. Know the governing documents and regulations for company. Responsible for compliance to regulations for health, environment and safety. Develop new cutting edge technology constructions and verify own work by hand calculations or similar design tools. Cover for Lead Engineer in certain special situations as required. Coach and support other designers during the work.
