Subsea Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Aberdeen, Scotland

Develop & manage package interfaces and detailed procedures and layouts for equipment fabrication, spools, valves, and connection systems; Responsible for the technical integrity of subsea mechanical systems from concept to handover (i.e. ‘cradle to grave’ approach), and during operations where appropriate i.e. layout, stress analysis etc; Integrate new technologies and value improving practices were appropriate; Liaison with Project Engineers, Project Team Leaders and discipline engineers, to develop and maintain philosophies, system specifications datasheets and any other mechanical system documents; Provide input to statement of requirements, basis of design and other key project documents; Develop and maintain equipment specifications and requisitions for a range of subsea systems including piping, flanges, valves, connection systems etc;
