Work within Acergy Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental procedures within his/her area of responsibility, maintaining the expected company standards of safe working practice and contributing positively to the Acergy safety management system. Provide engineering and technical support to survey activities carried out on Survey and Construction Fleet vessels. Promote/report operational actions/status in STAR database. Maintain regular contact to dedicated worksites by carrying out regular visits to the ship, with both survey team and Offshore Resources staff. When appropriate provide technical support to group Survey activities. Monitor and supervise planned maintenance and repair of survey standard spread equipment, including status and condition of onboard installation on Survey and Construction Fleet vessels. Provide support to Offshore Resources team for Survey related ship systems as required/directed by survey assets and engineering manager. Monitor and report equipment movement’s to/from Survey and Construction Fleet vessels to ensure correct tracking and billing of equipment in the Group ERP/SAP, Equipment tracking and MAXIMO systems. Manage survey engineering consumables and personnel support costs on dedicated worksites. Report budgeted costs against operational status monthly. Conduct equipment audits on the Survey and Construction Fleet Vessels in order to maintain integrity of equipment pool and equipment management systems. Monitor and report status of third party survey equipment on Survey and Construction Fleet vessels in order to ensure efficient utilisation of Acergy equipment pool assets, achieve a cost reduction and maintain the optimum operating cost for the vessel.
