Technology & Well Performance Engineer Jobs in Reading, UK

The main focus of the Technology & Well Performance Engineer’s position is to help improve the drilling performance in BG’s deepwater acreage whilst also ensuring that the lessons learnt can be applied to other BG assets. Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. In addition to any specific accountabilities for HSSE, all employees are accountable for ensuring that they take care of themselves and adopt exemplary safe behaviours The key accountabilities of this role are: 1. Through analysis identify and develop opportunities for performance and technology improvements. 2. Influencing and working with various stakeholders to develop and deliver initiatives to reduce drilling downtime – to be achieved by the application of best practice, performance improvements and new technology. 3. Delivering the project within the agreed plan to achieve the project milestones.
